Right Or Wrong?
What is right and what is wrong? What is white and what is black? Are they always separated and never mixed up? Or are they always mixed up? Everything we see around us is said to be either good or is said to be bad. But is that really the case? Is that really how the world is perceived? If someone does a crime do they not ask him why he had done it? Let's take the example of a thief. If a thief is caught in the act, do we not ask him/her why the crime was done? Why did they have to resort to such a deed? All of us make mistakes, yes, but the way we repent or the mistakes we make differ from the situations. Maybe the thief had his family to feed, didn't know what to do, and hence turned to the path of thieving as his option and committed the crime. Now, there is a difference between robbing and thieving. Robbing is intentional and with a motive, whereas thieving is also intentional but without a bigger motive. It might, however, seem the same. I'm not saying thieving is good and robbing is bad, both are equally terrible, there is a thin line between them that decides the time they'll have to serve.
Now, coming to some good deeds, some righteousness. A person finds a wallet lying around on the road and hands it over to the police. He/she did the right thing by handing it over. He's a good person. What is the guarantee a certain amount wasn't removed from the wallet? What is the guarantee the wallet was not first stolen and then returned? He/she did the right thing, but ask yourself this, was it really the right thing? Or was there some foul play involved?
From these two situations how will you say who's in the right or wrong side? What if the thief is a righteous person who had to do it due to his circumstances? And what if the person returning the wallet is actually a bad person putting up an act for the reward? We never know who's right and who's wrong. Similarly everything isn't just black or white, there's a thin-not-so-thin line between them and that area is every person's lives. Now I'm not saying that the thief is actually a good person maybe he IS a bad person and that the person returning the wallet IS a righteous person. I'm just saying there's a thin line between them and that's where every human on this planet come under. Not every person is good and not every person is bad. They're not black or white, but grey.
